Two realms, one account - Iron Gate and Iron Gate Classic

One account. Both realms. You choose at the character screen, and you can
play both if you want - there is nothing to pick between and nothing to lose
by trying the other one.

Both realms are Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a, max level 80, both factions
playable on the one account, and no pay-to-win on either.

IRON GATE - the Solo+ realm

XP (kill, quest, explore, pet) x10

Reputation x1
Item drop rate x1

Every dungeon and every raid is open right now. Nothing is gated.

This is the one to pick if you want to actually see the content without
grinding for months, or if your playing time comes in short pieces. The
boosted XP and gold do the heavy lifting; drops and reputation are left
Blizzlike so gear still means something.

IRON GATE CLASSIC - the progression realm

Everything x1. Blizzlike across the board. No boosts at all.

Content unlocks in phases, the way it did originally. We are on PHASE 1.

Open now: Naxxramas, Obsidian Sanctum, Eye of Eternity,
Vault of Archavon
Still sealed: Ulduar, Trial of the Crusader, Icecrown Citadel,
Ruby Sanctum

Those later raids open when their phase opens, exactly as they did in 2008.
Bots on Classic start at level 1 and level up alongside you, so the world
fills out as you go rather than being full of level 80s on day one.

This is the one to pick if you want the original pace and you want it to
take as long as it took.

ABOUT THE BOTS

Both realms are populated with Playerbots - AI characters that quest, run
dungeons, join battlegrounds and fill the world so it is never empty at
three in the morning. You can group with them.

They also talk back. Whisper one by name, or just chat in your party, and
they answer in their own words rather than from a list of canned lines. It
is worth trying once just to see.

A straight warning, because we would rather say it than have you find out:
the Playerbots system is still in active development and it is not perfect.
You will run into odd behaviour and occasional bugs. We work on it
constantly. If something looks wrong, the Bug Reports section is right
there and we do read it.

TITLE: Read this first - how to report a bug so it actually gets fixed

Short version: tell us WHICH REALM, and tell us what you expected to happen
versus what did happen. Those two things turn a report we cannot act on into
one we can.

WHAT TO INCLUDE

1. Which realm - Iron Gate or Iron Gate Classic. This matters more than
anything else. They are two separate servers with different settings,
and a bug on one is often fine on the other.

2. Your character name and level, and roughly when it happened.

3. Where you were. Zone, and the NPC or quest or item name if there is one.

4. What you expected, and what happened instead. "The quest is broken" is
hard to chase. "I killed 10 of them, the counter stayed at 4 of 10" is
something we can go and look at.

5. Whether it happens every time, or happened once.

Screenshots help a lot if you can manage one. Press Print Screen in game and
the picture lands in your WoW folder under Screenshots.

ABOUT BOT BEHAVIOUR

Worth setting expectations honestly. The Playerbots system is still in
active development. Bots doing something daft is common, and not every odd
thing a bot does is a bug we can fix quickly.

Still report it. A bot standing in fire, refusing to move, or pulling
something it should not is useful to know about - patterns in those reports
are how the behaviour gets improved. Just do not be surprised if the answer
is "known, being worked on" rather than a fix the same day.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

Someone will read it. You may not get a reply the same day, and a thread
with no reply has not been ignored - it has usually been read, written down
and queued for the next maintenance window.

If it is urgent, or it is something you would rather not post in public -
an account problem, or something about another player - use an in-game
ticket or email support instead. Those go straight to staff.

None of these is better than the others. Use whichever you are comfortable
